The Philippi Trust is an international counselling and counselling training organisation, established in the north of England in 1989, the Truro Centre was opened in 1997. Now the Philippi Trust (Cornwall) has 12 professionally trained counsellors with six more in training to advanced level. All are Christians from a variety of church backgrounds.

We work in seven venues around Cornwall. This means that a person can request a counsellor who is outside of their area and their church. Confidentiality is ensured with all staff working to the Association of Christian Counsellors Code of Ethics.

There are no set fees for our service but those coming for counselling are asked to make a donation for each session according to their means. Private counselling in Cornwall costs from £20 to £40 per hour, we suggest something between £2 and £25.

Each counselling session lasts for one hour and the number of sessions varies considerably and is for the individual with the counsellor to decide.
